It is such an awesome feeling to see our young people taping onto the entrepreneurship world and using their skills to form businesses, it is not an easy task to turn your ideas into businesses, in fact, it takes a great deal of persistence and that of believing in yourself to accomplish such an achievement.
Mahalia Gordon, a student of the University of Technology who owns and operates a blended seasoning franchise known as 'MahGord' has been persistent and highly motivated to see her business grow.
Gordon who finds it difficult to balance operating a business and attending university says she has to prioritize in order to excel at both ventures.
However, despite the challenges, Gordon envisions her business expanding to create more products and being featured on the shelves of Jamaica's supermarkets.
